Academy of Aesthetics & Skin Sciences campus is located in the historical downtown original square mile of Mesa with the address of 202 West Main Street Suite 102 and just two doors down from the “Big Pink Chair”. The Academy telephone number is 480-610-4642. The Academy consists of over 3700 square feet floor space dedicated to the curriculum of clinical aesthetics and makeup design. The facility is equipped with WI-FI for student usage and classroom internet learning. Mesa Main Street offers dozens of independently owned one-of-a-kind shops, boutiques and services. Downtown Mesa has an unsurpassed collection of history, art, theater and music with three major museums. Mesa Arts Center, which is considered one of the best art centers is the largest art center in Arizona and maintains a 39 piece public sculpture display program. In addition, the Mesa Amphitheater hosts music and festival events throughout the year along with the historic Nile Theater. The quaint downtown is home to colonnades, unique shopping, sidewalk cafes and friendly atmosphere.

Parking

Day Parking- the Academy students have several choices in regards to parking. Public parking is located in two lots on either side of Main Street.     A parking permit may be purchased by the Downtown Mesa Association for a small monthly fee. See the Academy Administrative Business office for more information. Parking meters run from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Students assume any risk of towing if parked at a meter or in a specific timed parking space. As a courtesy to the surrounding neighbors, do not park in their spaces. Cars will be towed. Periodically, downtown Mesa streets are closed due to city events. The Academy will keep the student informed of these dates so that other parking arrangements can be made if necessary.

Night Parking- Student who attends classes in the evening may move their cars to a closer parking meter in front or on the side of the Academy on the break. A few minutes will be allotted for this move. For safety reasons, night students will all exist the building at the same time when the Academy is closed for the evening.

Academy Hours of Operation

The Academy’s Administrative Business office hours are open from 9:00 am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday for business and enrollments.    The office is closed on Saturday and Sunday. The Academy employs an “Open Door Policy”. Students may schedule to speak with the administrative staff or faculty at any time with a pre-scheduled appointment.

The Academy Class Schedules are as follows for day and night aesthetics classes; (All students are required to adhere to their contract schedule).

Fulltime Day Class: Monday-Thursday 9:00a-5:30p (30 minute lunch- 2-15 minute breaks)

Part time Day Class: Monday-Thursday 9:00a-2:00p (2-15 minute breaks)

Part time Night Class: Monday-Thursday 5:30p-9:30p (2-15 minute breaks)
