The Academy houses the following area within 3700 square feet:
Reception Area and Retail Boutique- An important aspect of the job market is the ability of the student to retail products to their clients. Students are educated on the “Retail Skills” in the classroom and after each client.
The Retail Therapy Boutique & Academy Store (“The Store) is located in the reception area of the Academy. The Store is a learning tool for the students to become comfortable with the retail aspect of salon sales once students are eligible to perform services on the public. As in the Real-World environment the student is given a quota to retail 50% of the service ticket. Upon completion of any aesthetics services, the student is taught to bring the client to the “Store” and review skin care products used during the treatment process. If the student retails an item, the student shall then be credit with the “Retail Voucher”. This can be used towards the purchase of items sold in the Store, (excluding tuition payments, uniforms and overtime fees). The vouchers are based on 20% of all retail sold by the student to the client. Student shall receive the “Retail Vouchers” at the end of each client.
Items in the Store are marked at retail prices. Additional Academy uniforms and supplies are available to students through the Store. The Academy shall not special order any products for staff or students. All staff and students receive a 20% discount, except on Academy uniforms. Vendor information for items in the student kit is available to the students if they choose to purchase supplies on their own by calling the vendor. No product orders shall be accepted through the physical address of the Academy without special permission from the Academy Director. All items are charged sales tax.
Included in the reception area are the following dedicated class areas.
Facial Express Bar- The Facial Express Bar is located in the reception area of the Academy. Its purpose is to allow the student to demonstrate product usage through a 30 minute facial lesson as well as up selling services into full facial treatment. Retail skin care products to the client are also a benefit of learning at the Facial Express Bar.
MakeUp Bar- the Bella Touché MakeUp Bar allows the students the creativity of color cosmetics. The student is instructed to apply a soft MakeUp Touchup after each client. This allows the student continuous practice on the updated trends in color cosmetics and actual hands applications.
Couture Brow Bar- The Couture Brow Bar has been designed to add the newest trend and fastest growing segment of the beauty industry. The student is educated on Architectural Brow Design as it relates to each individual client face shape and natural brow lines. Brow precision is achieved through tweezing, and waxing.
Academy Administrative Office- An office is located in the main reception area. The office is used for student enrollment, perspective student information, student counseling and day to day business. All Academy business affairs are conducted from the business office. All student financial files and State board information are in a locked cabinet.
Lecture Suite/Classroom- The Academy houses a well-equipped Lecture Suite for theory, classroom demonstrations, guest speakers and vendor presentations. Equipped with a large flat screen-Skype compatible screen, a stage for class presentations and lecture, and a work area for each student.
Clinic Floor/Classroom- Structured in a large open space, the client clinic area provides facial and body services to the clients by an assigned student with an instructor present at all times. A full dispensary of skin care products, supplies, linens and tools are stocked to execute the facial/body services listed on the Academy Menu of Services. Each student is equipped with their own facial station containing a professional facial bed, steamer, magnifying lamp, stool, and Microdermabrasion machine. This equipment is purchased by the student as part of the Student Kit. The main Academy Dispensary for Sanitation is located in the Clinic Floor.
Equipment: The Academy supplies the students with many of the latest update in professional supplies and equipment for the experience of learning. This equipment comes with great cost. It is the students‟ responsibility to use the equipment with care and to clean and return the equipment when finished.

Library/Café- The Academy has an in-house aesthetics library and café/lunch area with WI-FI capabilities. The library is used by the students for a quiet area to study to work on projects/ homework and is equipped with its own TV-DVD for student‟s use. Two printers are provided for school related printing of class work. Books and magazines are provided for student use and can be checked out. The video/DVD library (located in the store) contains numerous educational videos/DVDs from educators, manufactures and product lines. These videos/DVDs are not to leave the Academy. To check out a video or DVD, the student must leave an ID with an instructor or the front desk employee. When the video or DVD is returned, the ID is returned.
Coupled with the library is the Café for student lunches and breaks. With a Coffee House atmosphere the Café is equipped with vending machines; microwave and refrigerator which are available for the student convenience.
